How do I know if Fit to Fly BDA’s test is what I need to travel?

We encourage you to visit the travel advisory page for your arrival country to ensure a certified antigen/lateral flow test is accepted. Fit to Fly BDA does not provide travel advice and is not responsible if our test isn’t suitable for your travels.

How long will it take to get my results and certificate?

We aim to have your certificate back to you within 2 hours.  At extremely busy times, it may take a bit longer but always less than 4 hours.

 What if I haven’t received my results yet?

Please email fittofly@healthcaresolutions.bm.

 What if my result comes back positive for COVID-19?

One of our trained healthcare providers will contact you by phone to let you know.  We encourage you to schedule a pcr test, isolate and monitor your symptoms.

 What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

If your flight change means you need another test, please email fittofly@healthcaresolutions.bm between 7am and 7pm AST and we will work with you to schedule a new test or go to the scheduling page and book a new appointment.

What if I need to cancel or amend my test appointment?

We do not provide refunds for cancellations if you are within 24 hours of your appointment time.  However, if you need to change your appointment date or time, we will work with you to find another time slot, if one is available.  Just email us at fittofly@healthcaresolutions.bm. You can also use the link at the bottom of your confirmation email.

 What if I am late or miss my appointment time?

We understand that sometimes things happen outside of our control and you might be late to your appointment – we will work with you to get you tested.  If you need to change your appointment date or time, just email us at fittofly@healthcaresolutions.bm and we will do our best to accommodate your change.  Please note, however, there are no refunds for no-shows.

 Can I take a test if I am not traveling?

Absolutely!  If you need to know your COVID-19 status, Fit to Fly BDA is happy to help.

 Can I only use this service if I live in Bermuda?

Nope!  Anyone traveling to or from Bermuda (or anywhere else which accepts certified antigen testing) can use Fit to Fly BDA.  In fact, we hope you do and that you share it with your family and friends.

 What payment do you accept?

We accept Visa or Mastercard.

 What are your credentials?

Fit to Fly BDA is a service of Healthcare Solutions which is registered with the Bermuda Health Council and authorised to provide certified antigen testing and Fit-to-Fly Certificates. Here is the link to approved providers: https://bhec.bm/covid-testing-facilities/

 Can I use any lateral flow test I want?

For travel to and from Bermuda, you must use a lateral flow test which has been approved by the Bermuda Health Council.  You can find the list of accepted tests here
